Hi, I’m Candy Maia.

I am a registered lawyer in Brazil and Portugal, with professional certifications in Business Training from DCU, Human Resources Management (CIPD) from the National College of Ireland, an Advanced Diploma in Irish Employment Law from the Honourable Society of King’s Inns, and Recruitment Practitioner certification (CertRP ERF) in Ireland.

Since moving to Ireland in 2015, I have built a solid career in Human Resources Management and Recruitment, working across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, technology, transport, and public services. Over the years, I have conducted 5,000+ interviews, supporting organisations and candidates across diverse roles, levels, and specialisations.

Alongside my corporate career, I provide career consultancy and professional mentoring. My journey as a mentor began in 2016, when I started volunteering to help immigrant women improve their CVs, build confidence, and secure well-paid, meaningful employment.

As demand for my support grew, I decided to formalise my work, investing in further qualifications and professional training to deliver high-quality career strategy, guidance, and mentoring.

Today, my mentorees come from all markets and industries, including technology, healthcare, financial services, construction, public services, transport, business, architecture, IT, and many more. Whether navigating a career change, entering the Irish job market, or aiming for professional growth, my approach is practical, strategic, and deeply human.
